Minnesota offers two distinct programs for forest landowners: the Sustainable Forest Incentive Act (SFIA), which pays you an annual incentive for keeping your land forested and undeveloped, and the 2c Managed Forest Land classification, which reduces your property taxes in exchange for managed forest use.
