Raised on a small farm in Moose Lake, MN, Erik grew up working in the family forestry contracting business, gaining experience in all aspects of woodland management — from tree planting crews to harvesting operations and sawmills. He studied abroad in Germany's Black Forest, Poland's forests, and Uganda, Africa. Erik has worked for Woodland Services Inc., NALCO Chemical Company in Chicago, Blandin Paper in Grand Rapids, MN, and Weyerhaeuser Timber Company in Deerwood, MN. He currently owns Timberlane Forestry Inc. and has been practicing professional forestry since 1988.
Community Involvement

Erik and Deb also work with their Youth Group and support many youths on annual missions trips. Erik serves on the Heritage Assemblies of God Elder Board.
